Bacoban®
Long-term Surface Disinfection for up to 10 Days
Bacoban® is a long-term anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal coating which can be applied to any surface via spray, wipe or nebuliser. Unlike most surface protection products which once applied only last minutes, Bacoban remains active for up to 10 days after application and is resistant to the most common germs and viruses including MRSA, HIV, Hepatitis B&C and Norovirus. After significant testing Bacoban has been approved to be an effective barrier against Ebola hemorrhagic fever (Ebola or EVD), already now being used by airlines and ambulance fleet protection.

Bacoban® has been developed not only to protect medical environments such as Hospitals and surgeries (Class 2 medical product) but also high multi-user environments such as offices, shopping and entertainment centers and even planes, ships. With a wide range of application methods almost any environment can be protected, the Bacoban nebuliser can disinfect a room, vehicle, cabin or office in minutes and as no moisture is released sensitive equipment and interior fittings do not need to be relocated before application.
Long lasting formula has been especially created to improve the safety between the individual disinfecting steps, effectively closing the hygiene gap. This advanced formula is skillful weapon for the control and elimination of germs and viruses. Regular use of Bacoban leads to further improvement of the surface as the ultra-thin nanoscale layer builds up resistance making it more difficult for the contaminants to adhere to the surface. This results in stronger protection and improved hygienic environment.

A New Dimension of Infection Control
Conventional disinfectants are effective immediately – but only for a short period. Micro-organisms are only killed during the few minutes of the duration of the active period. After that, when the disinfectant has evaporated, the area treated is again subjected to microbial strains. Until the next disinfection, a hygiene gap results, in which there can be a repeated settlement by micro-organisms.

Resolves The Hygiene Gap

How To Apply Bacoban?

Bacoban® establishes an ultra-thin film with a lasting effect. The technology used here is the sol-gel process that develops a solid gel phase on the basis of a liquid phase. The biocides used to kill germs are embedded in the porous structure of the developing sponge-like sol-gel and are washed out again when coming into contact with water (bacteria, enveloped viruses and fungi are always surrounded by a water shell).

Extensive third party testing by internationally recognized laboratories confirm efficacy against the below micro-organisms:
